It is so against nature to eat this creature…

In an earlier post, before we went to China, I blogged about the cucumber puff. Sadly I couldn’t find this dessert anywhere.
If you thought the cucumber puff was strange… look at this scorpion screwer!! No worries we didn’t eat it. Would you?
What we did eat was the popular “hot pot”. This is a Chinees fondue consisting of a simmering metal pot in the middele of the table with stock in it. You have to put your ingredients, like meat, vegetables and wontons, in the pot and cook it for a couple of minutes. After it’s cooked you can eat it with a dipping sauce.
