Inspiration at Aaiko
As soon as you enter Aaiko’s stunning showroom, you instantly know you are in fashion haven. Fresh trends mixed with classic numbers, a diverse palette of colors, makes Aaiko’s office & showroom an awe-inspiring work environment for a fashionista like me! Hello! My name is Sarvangi Shah and I am a new intern at Blosh. Studying Creative and Media Enterprises at Warwick University in the UK, I am researching the nature of trends and where they come from for my thesis.
Aaiko came across as an exciting and dynamic company where I hoped I would find these answers and identify the evolution of different trends. While, Aaiko’s collection soaks in styles and concepts from the around the world, Designer, Pauline’s favorite hunt spots range from Milan, Shangai and Paris to name a few.
But home is where the heart is! And Amsterdam is one of the most vibrant, fashionable cities and was at its best this weekend for the Gay Pride! Its my first time living in Amsterdam, and standing by the canals, with millions of people, dressed crazy but always ‘pink crazy’, was simply a spectacular experience. From cycling while dining to funky boats, Amsterdam can astonish and inspire you at the same time!
I hope I can take in all this city has to offer in the short span of 2 months, but don’t worry in the mean time you’ll see a lot more blogs from me about fashion, events and Amsterdam!
