A Rain-kissed morning at Centre Neuf Sud
When it rains in Amsterdam, it really pours and the heavens let loose this Wednesday in the Centre Neuf Sud Store at the Willemsparkweg – the location for our photo-shoot. Always the photography enthusiast and head of Marketing, Karin, asked me to join her in taking some pictures of the recently renovated shop. The shop stocks new collections of our beloved Aaiko, Marc by Marc Jacobs and Patriza Pepe to name a few.
Nestled between quaint cafes and elegant home décor stores; our visit to this charming little neighborhood was a full-filled day. Be it photographing the new collection, devouring a yummy Bacon and goat’s cheese sandwich or even buying a € 15 umbrella! (Desperate times call for desperate measures)
Regardless of the downpour, the shop was busy with several serious shoppers finding comfort in the luxury of fine fabrics and handcrafted bags – True fashionistas!
Trend tip – Let out the animal in you this A/W, we saw elephants, leopards and even dainty butterflies in all the collections. Look out for muddy and earthy tones, somber hues with block prints and faux fur!
